OnePlus Turbo Has Its Full Specifications Leaked - Coming With Impressive Battery

The day was quite busy for OnePlus fans with the launch of the new OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Ace 6 in China. These devices are set to hit global markets in the coming months, while the flagship will retain its title, the OnePlus Ace 6 is expected to hit other markets as the OnePlus 15R. Despite these familiar lineups, OnePlus is rumored to introduce an all-new smartphone lineup. The OnePlus Turbo will be the first device of this new Turbo series. Today, most of its specifications have been revealed.

The new OnePlus Turbo will come with a 6.7-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC. Yeah, it seems that this phone will be the first to come with Qualcomm's secondary flagship SoC introduced last month, along with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. This chipset will certainly deliver top-notch performance, but the jaw-dropping appeal in this smartphone will be its battery. As per the leak, the OnePlus Turbo will break the 7,999mAh barrier with an 8,000mAh cell.

The massive 8,000mAh battery will support 100W fast-charging, which makes charging this huge cell a breeze. Such capacity means that we're hitting the territory that once belonged to rugged smartphones, in terms of battery endurance. However, these smartphones still have the size of a regular smartphone due to the Si-C batteries. The OnePlus Turbo will easily be a two-day battery smartphone, and even for avid gamers, it should be challenging to drain this smartphone.

The phone has a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Taking photos isn’t the main thing this phone does, but it should still take good pictures. We don’t know yet if it has OIS (a feature that keeps photos steady). The OnePlus Turbo also has a vibration motor, stereo speakers, NFC, and a fingerprint scanner inside the screen.

According to the leak, the OnePlus Turbo is on tested in India. The device is set to become official within the next two months. In other words, we can expect this device to debut before the end of the year.
