Huawei has launched the Pura 90 Plus in China, adding a new phone to its flagship range. It brings a curved screen, a large camera sensor and a new Kirin chip. It also packs a 5,700mAh battery with fast wired and wireless charging.
The Pura 90 Plus is the only phone in the Pura 90 family with a curved metal frame. Huawei has also brought back rounded edges, giving it a different look from the flat-sided Pura 90 Pro models.

A bright screen with curved edges

The phone has a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED screen with a resolution of 2,848 × 1,276 pixels. Its refresh rate can drop to 1Hz or rise to 120Hz, depending on what you are doing. This helps keep scrolling smooth while saving power when the screen is still.
Huawei also uses second-generation Kunlun Glass to protect the display. The phone comes in four colors: Obsidian Black, Snow White, Sunset Purple and Dawn Gold.

A new Kirin chip and four rear cameras

The Pura 90 Plus is the first phone to use Huawei’s Kirin 9025 chip. Huawei says the new hardware and software bring a 19% boost in overall performance compared with the previous generation.
The rear camera system has four sensors. The main camera uses a 50MP, 1-inch sensor with a variable aperture from f/1.6 to f/4.0. It also has optical image stabilization to help reduce blur.
A 48MP telephoto camera supports close-up shots and up to 4x optical zoom. A 40MP ultra-wide camera handles wider scenes, while a fourth sensor helps improve color accuracy. The front camera is 13MP.

Big battery and fast charging

The phone packs a 5,700mAh battery. It supports 100W wired charging and 80W wireless charging, so users can top it up without waiting too long.
It runs HarmonyOS 7 and includes Huawei’s Super Storage feature. On the 1TB model, Huawei says this can free up to 110GB of storage space. The phone also supports two-way BeiDou satellite messaging.
