Next year is shaping
up to be a massive one for mobile images. This is mostly so for the "Green Factory" ecosystem of
OPPO and
OnePlus. New leaks suggest that
OPPO is getting set to fully transition to 200MP camera systems. It will use this sensor across its
high-end lineup in 2026. This shift isn't just for show; it appears to be the
new blueprint for both the next-generation Find N foldables. There are also reports that OnePlus will use this sensor too.
200MP Sensor - A big leap
According to the
well-known insider
@DigitalChatStation, OPPO’s strategy for 2026 centres on
high-resolution imaging. The source claims that the camera tech being developed
for the Find N series will serve as the foundation for future OnePlus devices.
Specifically, there is bold talk of the
OnePlus 16 adopting a 200MP setup. It will potentially feature a large-sensor telephoto lens. This sensor could redefine how we
take zoom photos on a smartphone.
The Find N6 Foldable
While the OnePlus 16
is still on the horizon, more concrete details have emerged about the
"N6". This phone is widely believed to be the OPPO Find N6. This new foldable is
tipped to feature a triple-camera array on the back. But the headline sensor is the 200MP shooter. It will also have two 50MP lenses. To help with colour accuracy, it may also
include a 2MP multi-spectral sensor. On the front, both the inner 8.12-inch and
outer 6.62-inch screens are expected to house 20MP selfie cameras.
Performance and Power
Under the hood, the
Find N6 is set to be a powerhouse. It is rumoured to run on the Snapdragon 8
Elite Gen 5 processor. This makes it one of the fastest foldables on the market. To
keep that performance going, the device will likely use a dual-cell battery. The battery will have a total capacity of around 6000mAh. The phone weighs only 225 grams. This is unusual, considering its heavy-duty specs and massive screen.
New Colours and Connectivity
OPPO also seems to be
embracing premium materials and satellite tech. The Find N6 is expected to come
in a "Beidou Satellite Edition." This will allow for communication in areas
without cell service. As for looks, the phone will likely debut in three sophisticated
shades: Original Titanium, Deep Black, and Golden Orange. By offering a massive 16GB of RAM and 1TB of
storage, it’s clear OPPO is positioning itself at the very top of the premium
market.
