After the launch of its flagship lineup - the
Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, Oppo is now moving on to the Reno series. The very popular and traditional Reno series, composed of premium mid-range smartphones, is about to receive its Reno15 series iteration. Ahead of the launch, one of the Oppo Reno15 variants
was spotted on
Geekbench. As usual, the popular benchmark website gives us a small glimpse of the phone's specifications.
Oppo Reno15 Series Launching Soon With a Pro Max Variant
The Oppo Reno15 will launch pretty soon, and according to the rumors, this family is also getting a Pro Max variant. After the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max and Redmi K90 Pro Max, it seems that other Chinese brands will finally embrace Apple's nomenclature for the largest and fanciest flagship.
The
Geekbench listing shows that we will see some intermediary performance in these flagships. The variant with codename OPPO PLV110 passed the benchmark with the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 SoC. This chipset sits between the Dimensity 8400 and the newer 8500, but in the end of the day, delivers a great performance for most users. This particular variant is paired with 16 GB of RAM. The phone runs Android 16 with
ColorOS 16 running atop.
As far as the scores are concerned, this phone achieved 1,668 points in the Single Core tests and 6,274 in the Multi-Core department.
The Dimensity 8450 is indeed a good choice, but it probably won't fit the top Reno15 variant. Therefore, we believe this is either the Oppo Reno15 or the Reno15 Pro. The Pro Max, on the other hand, is rumored to carry the Dimensity 9400 SoC instead.
The Reno series usually gets an update in the November-December period every year; that said, we expect the Oppo Reno15, Reno15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max to appear before the end of 2026.
