Analysts: HTC M7 already delayed

We haven't seen so much excitement circulating around a HTC phone in some time! The M7, could be HTC's make or break phone and features all new camera and sound tech, but is it already running behind schedule?

According to rumours, HTC will be unveiling their latest flagship Android phone at a special event held on February 19th with a release date soon after.

However, analysts at Citigroup are suggesting that the HTC M7 could be delayed due to component shortages and point to the companies "low yield rate of some components such as metal casings and antennas" and suggest that only 500,000 HTC M7's will be ready for launch rather than 3 million which was forecast.

If correct this could have turn HTC's much anticipated launch turn out to be the biggest flop in recent phone history!
