Elephone's on a multi-ROM roll, it appears. Only a couple of days back did we see the P5000 running a myriad of popular ROMs including Xiaomi's MIUI, and today we've received
news that the first 64-bit Elephone -- the P6000 -- can run
CyanogenMod 12 (based on Lollipop) as well.
The Elephone P6000 is among the best phones in its range; that's something we aren't just saying, but something we established during
our review of the P6000. It comes with a 5-inch 720p screen, has the
quad-core MediaTek MT6732 64-bit processor, a 13 mega-pixel camera and 2GB of RAM along with a 2750mAh battery. Out of the box, the phone runs only AOSP
Android; however, the future looks bright for P6000 users thanks to what's going on on the dev scene of the phone.
Take a look at the video below and let us know what you think. Also, do let us know if you would prefer a slightly buggy CyanogenMod 12 ROM over the standard AOSP ROM on the Elephone P6000, given a choice!
