Essential Phone ready to ship in a few weeks, says Andy Rubin

It seems that the team behind the Essential Phone is working really hard to get the device ready for those who have pre ordered it and Andy Rubin is trying to calm people down for the delays that have appeared already.

Recently, the company's official Twitter account has published the message you can see embedded below.

This means that the wait is - almost - over and that the device is getting ready for testing and certification with carriers. But wait, isn't this supposed to have been done already before launch? Anyway, we're hoping that a more concrete deadline will be revealed soon, but until then let's assume that if you pre-ordered an Essential Phone you will have it in your hands by the end of August at the latest.
