Gionee Elife S will be more than a slim smartphone

A new teaser from Gionee tells us we should expect more from the company’s Gionee Elife S smartphone than just a slim device.

The Gione Elife S has been hinted at by Gionee’s execs quite frequently ahead of the 19th Feb launch. According to rumours the Gionee Elfie S could measure as little as 5.8mm thick making it one of the slimmest smartphones on the market.

Gionee are telling us that the new phone will be more than just slim though suggesting that something in the hardware could be surprising too. From leaks we have learned the phone will boast an octacore MT6592 processor, 5-inch display, and 2GB RAM. Hopefully the surprises could be battery or camera related.

Gionee will launch the Gionee Elife S in the evening of the 19th Feb so keep posted for the official details.
