India to get it’s first 8-core phone in December, Smart Namo Saffron Wave Octacore

India based phone maker Smart Namo will launch it’s first 8-core MT6592 phone on 15th December at the very attractive price of just $315!

The Smart Namo Saffron Wave Octacore looks very similar to a few of the Octa-core Galaxy Note 3 wannabe’s we have seen turning up over the past week, but what sets this phone apart from the rest is that it will officially be launched in India and at a pretty great price to boot!

Being based on the Note 3 design the Saffron Wave Octacore has a 5.7-inch FHD display, and comes in a choice of colours. Under the hood sits an octa-core MT6592 chipset, 2GB RAM, 32GB memory, and 2800 mAh battery. Smart Namo are advertising the phone as pre-rooted, meaning it will be that much easier to customise and install alternate ROMs on the device out of the box.
