OnePlus' CEO Pete Lau has just announced on Twitter that the
OnePlus 3 and
OnePlus 3T will both get updated to Android O.
This is obviously great
news for OnePlus 3 and 3T owners and it shows how seriously the company cares about customer satisfaction. It's indeed one of the most active phone manufacturer, software wise, and that's why many Android users love their devices; other than killer price-to-performance ratios.
Now, it's too early to say when they'll actually release the update as Android O isn't officially out yet, so hopefully it won't take too long. The fact that OnePlus has already discontinued both the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T does not imply they won't support these devices in future, as made clear when announced.
