The
Oppo R1 has been out and about posing for some
photos ahead of
launch, a premium looking
mid-range phone.
The R1 will be one of the next R Series phones to
launch in China as a
mid-range smartphone for customers wanting a premium feel with higher than average
camera specifications.
In fact according to our sources the R1 will feature the same 8 mega-pixel, f2.0 rear camera found on the Meizu MX3! That’s a very impressive camera on the flagship Meizu and quite a treat on a mid-range device.
Other highlights include an all
Glass construction which features an anti-fingerprint coating, keeping the glossy body as pristine as new even after being handled with oily hands. As with all R Series Oppo phones the R1 will feature a Mediatek
processor, a
quad-core MT6589 in this case, dual-SIM support, and micro
SD card reader.
A launch date hasn’t been announced but we believe the phone will go on sale before the end of the year at around 2000 Yuan.
