Zopo have remained quiet on the
quad-core MT6589 phone front, but new
details suggest the
Zopo ZP800 is on the way and it could
rival even the mighty
UMi X2!
The
UMi X2 is currently the hottest Android
phone sporting a
quad-core MT6589 chip we have seen this year, and judging by the
leaked photos we published last week it will be launching very soon, however it looks as though they might already have rival!
According to sources over at Zopo, the ZP800 will be launching very soon too and features much of the same great hardware which make the UMi X2 so desirable! Plus with their own factory, and international stores, it should be a whole lot easier to buy too!
Those close to the
ZP800 project are reporting the new
phone will boast a
quad-core MT6589 CPU, 5-inch 1080 HD screen, and a
13 mega-pixel rear camera. We are also hearing the
phone will support WCDMA and TDS CDMA as well as GSM networks, although we are unsure dual-sim support will be included.
Leaked
renderings show the
phone to be more rectangular than the UMi
X2 with what appears to be a protective metal edge which should give the
phone a nice sturdy feel.
More details as we get them!
