The LG Zone 4 is the latest LG budget offering

LG's mid-range devices tend to get lost in traffic since they rarely, if ever impress. They're never actually bad, but the sheer competition from other companies ruins any chances they have. As good as the LG K10 is, it won't measure up to a Redmi Note 5 Pro anytime soon. Unfortunately, I feel the same thing applies here with their latest budget device, the LG Zone 4.

The Zone 4 has a 5-inch, 1280x720 resolution display, your typical budget device solution. It runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 425 chipset with 2GB of RAM and 16GB expandable storage. We've got 8MP camera on the back along with a fingerprint sensor and on the front there's a 5MP camera. All this runs on a removable 2500mAh battery and Android 7.1.2 Nougat comes installed on every device.

Now the specs all seem just dandy on paper, but the LG Zone 4 comes in at $114.99. This isn't really all too attractive of a price tag, especially next to options from other companies. Xiaomi for example offers the Redmi 5A which has better specs and a larger battery for less than $100. These types of options really kill the Zone 4's probability of success to us. The one advantage it seems to have is US availability, though even then it's a stretch.
