Budget phones rarely reveal everything before launch. Poco just did. The Poco M8 Power's Flipkart microsite has been updated with nearly every spec detail ahead of the phone's official unveiling. Nothing left to guess. Here's what's coming.

The M8 Power sports a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,800 nits of peak brightness. There's also a 240Hz touch sampling rate and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. For a budget device, that's a genuinely strong display package.

The battery is the headline. Poco fitted an 8,000mAh cell here — and despite the size, the phone measures just 8.45mm thin. That's impressive engineering for the price. Charging tops out at 45W wired, with 22.5W reverse charging also on board. So you can top up other devices in a pinch. Useful.

Under the hood sits a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4, paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Not a powerhouse chip. It's fine for everyday tasks — don't expect it to handle heavy gaming without compromise. Software is HyperOS 3 based on Android 16, with four years of OS upgrades and six years of security updates promised. The update commitment is solid. Few phones at this price point offer that.

Photography is handled by a 50-megapixel OmniVision Light Fusion 400 sensor on the rear and an 8-megapixel front camera. Nothing exotic. Functional. The front is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, and the phone carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. IP65 isn't IP68 — it handles splashes and dust just fine, but don't go dunking it.

The box includes the phone, a protective case, a 45W charger, a USB cable, a SIM ejector tool, and a Quick Start Guide. The charger is in the box. Always worth noting — that's not a given anymore.

Color options are Blaze Orange, Green, and Black, with an expected price of around ₹25,000 — roughly $290. At that price, the 8,000mAh battery and six-year security commitment make a strong case.
