When Apple introduced the iPhone 17 Pro Max in its Cosmic Orange color, it certainly was not everyone's cup of tea. While some users really enjoyed the new color options, others were displeased with the company's change in direction from the old sober color tones. Well, like it or not, it seems that Apple still has the trend-setting power and will force its major competitor - Samsung - to also copy this color option. According to a new set of CAD leaked renders, the Galaxy S26+ Will Also boast an Orange Color option.

Samsung Galaxy S26+ Brings Incremental Changes and New Camera Design

After being reportedly cancelled, Samsung had to reconsider, and the Samsung Galaxy S26+ is back on track. Today, a set of leaked CAD renders confirms the phone's design. It measures 158.4 x 75.7 x 7.35mm. That makes it the same height, and marginally narrower and thicker than its predecessor. Curiously, this color option shows a screaming Orange colorway. It's not confirmed yet, but considering Apple's iPhone 17 Pro Max color option, we wouldn't be surprised to see Samsung following.

The phone will come with narrow bezels all around the screen and a single centered punch-hole camera. The Samsung Galaxy S26+, however, will bring a different rear design. It will adopt the latest design language, with an oval-shaped camera island instead of just three individual circles in a raindrop design. They are still there, but with an island and a small protruding design.
According to old rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S26+ will carry the Exynos 2600 and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, depending on the market. Based on the phone's overall dimensions, its screen will most likely remain identical to the Galaxy S25+'s 6.7-inch panel. According to fresh rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra could be revealed in late January.

In Summary, the Samsung Galaxy S26+ Highlights Are

  • Samsung may follow Apple’s Cosmic Orange trend from the iPhone 17 Pro Max
  • Refreshed rear design with an oval camera island and subtle protrusion
  • Narrow bezels and a centered punch-hole camera on the front
  • Expected to use Exynos 2600 or Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, depending on region
  • Likely keeping a 6.7-inch display based on the leaked dimensions
We expect more details to pop out in the coming months ahead of this launch. Stay tuned for more details about the new flagship family that certainly will dictate some rules for the market in 2026.
