Samsung is getting ready to change
things up with its next flagship lineup, the
Samsung Galaxy S26 series.
One of the biggest changes this time
is that the regular “vanilla” model will not return.
Instead, it will be replaced by a
new version called the
Galaxy S26 Pro.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Uses A Slightly Smaller Screen
A new leak from popular tipster
Digital Chat Station has revealed the display size for the Galaxy S26 Pro.
The
phone is expected to come with a 6.27-inch screen.
This size is a little smaller than
what you’d find on most current premium phones, which usually hover closer to
6.4 inches.
This compact display could make the
device more comfortable and easier to operate with one hand.
Even with the slightly smaller
screen, the device is expected to come with a bright and sharp display.
Samsung is known for delivering
quality screens with high resolution and massive refresh rates to its flagship
devices, so this is not a surprise.
Bigger
Battery for Longer Use
The leak also points to an upgraded
battery. The Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro is tipped to feature a 4300 mAh battery. This is a
noticeable improvement over the Galaxy S25’s 4000 mAh cell.
Though not huge, this increase will
make a significant improvement in the device’s performance.
Users who are on their phones all
day will not have to worry about constantly charging their phones.
Possible
Camera Upgrade on the Way
This leak didn’t come with details
on the camera, but from previous rumours, the Galaxy S26 Pro’s main camera
might come with a new sensor.
Samsung is known to upgrade the camera
hardware of its new series. We can’t know for sure, as it is far too early to
tell if there will be an upgrade, in terms of a camera upgrade, from the S25.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is rumoured to
have three models: the S26 Pro, the S26 Edge (taking over from the “Plus”
version), and the
S26 Ultra.
Samsung is likely to reveal more
details as the launch date gets closer, but for now, the leaked display size
and battery boost give fans a glimpse of what’s coming.
