$190 5 inch MeePad E-note Padfone On Sale in China

Android smartphones big enough to seen from space yet small enough to fit in your trouser pocket are becoming huge business around the globe and China’s small electronics companies are churning them out to keep demand flowing. The latest mini tablet/massive phone padfone combo out of is the i5230 which a IPS which is a huge step up compared to some of the lower spec large we have been seeing.

With a rather good looking design and nicely tapered edges (ala iPad 2) the E-note manages to squueze3 G, GPS, an FM radio tuner, 5 mega pixel rear camera, 1.3 mega pixel front plus Wifi and bluetooth, in to the 11.4mm thick body.

Android 2.3 Gingerbread comes as standard but the company plan to release an updated Android 4.0 ICS ROM soon.

The Meepad E-note also has a range of accessories available including a leather pouch and screen protectors.
