Asus Zenbook Touch U500VZ appears on official website

Asus have made a surprise update to their Zenbook range of ultrabooks and have added the new flagship Asus Zenbook Touch U500VZ to it’s range.

The new ultrabook appeared on the official Asus website yesterday, complete with specifications and photos of the new touch-screen Window’s 8 device.

Like previous versions of the Zenbook the Touch U500VZ get’s a wafer thin alloy body, but now includes a 1080p IPS touch screen. Other highlights include dual 256GB SSD flash drives, an Intel Core i7 quad-core CPU and of course Windows 8.

You can check out the full specification here, but Asus haven’t included any release dates of pricing details for the new Zenbook!
