MGCOOL are taking a break from releasing action cameras and are actually set to
launch a pair of sport-oriented
Bluetooth earphones, which will go by the name of MGCOOL WAVE.
The new earphones are already in production and as we can see from the renders, it will feature a very nice ergonomic design and CVC6.0 noise reduction technology, to bring a clearer and more satisfying listening experience in any outside environment.
The MGCOOL WAVE will be made of a skin-friendly soft plastic, pack Bluetooth 4.1 + EDR and a 100mAh battery, which in tests conducted by MGCOOL resulted in a standby time of up to 220 hours. With a playback time of about 7 hours and a charging time of 2 hours.
MGCOOL's bluetooth earphones are also water resistant IPX7, so they can withstand rain, sweat and water splashes, which covers pretty much every "sport" situation; do not bring them for a swim, though.
The MGCOOL WAVE will be priced very competitively but we aren't aware of how much exactly yet, if they manage to keep it below $40 then they could become a very interesting option in the bluetooth earphones scene.
