New record for Xiaomi with 10 million shipments in September!

Xiaomi fans have another reason to celebrate today, as the Chinese company managed to ship over 10 million smartphones in September only, according to Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun.

Just a heads up: the company had sold a little over 70 million phones in 2015, 58 million the next year and until today they have already sold more than 63 million phones with 3 more months until the end of the year! Could this mean that they could reach 80 million devices sold by the end of 2017? [irp]

As Xiaomi CEO said, there are three core factors laying behind these figures – innovation, quality, and delivery. And the company is working hard to improve them all - especially the last one: delivery. As you can see in the images, Lei Jun celebrated the event with friends and employees from all Xiaomi departments: research and development, supply chain, marketing, sales and service/support.

With extra financial aid (the company got 1 billion loan from banks recently) things seem to be booming for the Chinese company, and we expect to see even better things from them.
