Reduced price Xiaomi Mi2s on sale today!

Today is the first day of sales for the Xiaomi Mi2S at the new lower $293 price tag, what’s more this is an ‘open’ sale so anyone in China can purchase.

Xiaomi normally run a type of lottery when selling their phones and Android devices, but for the Xiaomi Mi2S with newly reduced price the sale will be open to anyone based in China.

After the launch of the Mi3, Xiaomi announced that their currently flagship phone, the 32GB Mi2s with Snapdragon 600 CPU and 13 mega-pixel rear camera, will get a price drop of 500 Yuan ($81) bringing the retail price of the phone down to just 1799 Yuan ($293).

As this is an open sale stocks are going to be depleted rather quickly , but it is likely that a number of these cheeper Mi2S phones will make their way to international buyers also!

The release of the Mi2S sale comes just before Apple are to launch their new ‘adorable’ iPhone 5C which could cost as much at 3499 Yuan ($571) here in China.
