WCDMA Xiaomi Hongmi goes on sale today!

Xiaomi kicks off the 5th of November with another day of sales for the Xiaomi Mi3, Xiaomi TV, Mi2S and for the first time ever the China Unicom WCDMA version of the Xiaomi Hongmi!

Chinese and international customers alike have been waiting for the day the Xiaomi would launch the WCDMA version of the Xiaomi Hongmi and that day is finally upon us. 100,000 Hongmi phones will be up for sale later today at 799 Yuan (although some customers might have to pay an additional 100 yuan for shipping).

For international readers this means that Xiaomi Hongmi phones compatible with many of Europes 3G operators will finally be available, although it is not known what kind of premium they will be sold for.
