Xiaomi launch smart sensor to help you create a smart home

Xiaomi take a step closer to their smart home dream with the beta launch of new smart sensors.

Xiaomi announced the release of a Beta sensor set for the home which can monitor and control the environment and security of your house of flat. The sensor released can monitor light, movement and temperature and can either then make changes to the environment of send a notification to your phone.

For example movement might switch on a security camera, while high temperature would turn on the AC. There are also sensor for fitting to windows or door so alert you if they are opened.

The kit features batteries that can last 2 years, but is currently a Beta product only. This means that only a select few Xiaomi fans will get their hands on the kit, but it will only cost 1 Yuan!

Xiaomi are also set to release a gaming product tomorrow, we hope it is the official release of the Xiaomi gamepad. Keep posted for more news.
