Following the price drop in China, Xiaomi have given their flagship Mi 5 a price cut in their second largest market, India. It's worth noting that Xiaomi seem to be doing much better in India, especially with their Redmi series as compared to China.
The Mi 5 was launched for 24,999 INR ($372) in India, but will now be available for 22,999 INR ($342), a 2000 INR / $30 price cut.
The Mi 5 is Xiaomi's current flagship. As one of the first phones to go on sale with the Snapdragon 820 SoC, the version of the Mi 5 sold in India comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. It also features a 5.15-inch 1920 x 1080p display that makes the phone incredibly compact, along with a 16 mega-pixel camera on the rear and a 4 mega-pixel front facing snapper.
The phone can be availed for 22,999 INR from mi.com, Flipkart.com and through Xiaomi's offline retail partners.
