Xiaomi announced the Redmi Note 3 Pro on the 14th of January, 2 days after launching the Redmi 3.

The Redmi Note 3 Pro is a bit of an upgrade to the Helio X10-powered Redmi Note 3, which is also why it is 100 Yuan dearer than the former.

The Redmi Note 3 Pro is priced starting at an attractive 999 Yuan for the 2GB RAM/16GB ROM version in China, which translates to roughly $150. This is 100 Yuan over the 899 Yuan asking price of the Helio X10-powered Redmi Note 3.

Pricing for the 3GB RAM/32GB ROM version is yet to be announced.
