Xiaomi has begun sending out new
software updates for its wearables. This new
update is rolling out in stages. Zhang
Lei, who heads Xiaomi’s mobile and wearables division, says every version of
the
Xiaomi Band 10 should get the update by next week.
The company’s
AI Glasses
will also receive their full upgrade around the same time. This makes it one of Xiaomi's biggest updates across its wearable lineup this year.

Band 10: Cleaner Look and Better Activity Tracking
The Band 10 is getting a noticeable makeover. Xiaomi’s
latest OS3 interface brings a cleaner layout. It also adds smoother animations and menus
that feel easier to move through.
It may feel like a small change. However, it helps the
band feel fresher and easier on the eyes. The whole interface looks cleaner. It feels more like the entire device is brand new.
Notifications also feel nicer to use now. Focus alerts pop
up in a clearer way. Thus, you can quickly tell what matters without getting
pulled out of what you’re doing. Not a big addition, but it's necessary.
Fitness tracking gets a lift, too. Swimming mode has been
adjusted to give more reliable numbers in the pool. The new step frequency
and pace system does a better job. It now keeps up with your runs and walks. It feels
more accurate overall.
All of these improvements are coming to every version of
the Band 10. Whether you’re using the regular model, the NFC edition, or the
ceramic and Shadow Gold versions.

AI Glasses: Smarter Tools and Easier Control
The AI Glasses are getting more
powerful with this update. One of the biggest additions is an English-speaking
practice mode. Just say “Open English speaking practice,” and the glasses start
a casual voice session to help users work on their spoken English. It’s
designed for quiet spaces and feels more like a free-flowing chat than a strict
lesson.
Xiaomi is also tightening the link
between the glasses and its wider ecosystem. A new voice control feature lets
users check on their Xiaomi car or control certain in-car systems without
touching anything. For people who stream or create content, the glasses now
support livestreaming directly to TikTok or any RTMP platform, turning them
into a simple, hands-free way to broadcast.
Another helpful addition is “Xiao Ai
OneShot.” After saying “Hey Xiao Ai,” users can give their command right away
instead of waiting for the assistant to reply first. It makes everyday actions
a bit quicker and less awkward.
Rollout
Schedule
Some users have already received the
update, and Xiaomi says the full rollout should wrap up next week. Once it’s
complete, every supported Band 10 and every pair of Xiaomi AI Glasses will have
access to the new features and improvements.
