Redmi Watch 5 Active Will Arrive in the Next Week

Xiaomi is gearing up to introduce a new smartwatch for the Indian market. The wearable in question will be dubbed Redmi Watch 5 Active. The smartwatch will debut on August 27 and Redmi India shared a couple of teasers for the device confirming most of its key specifications. Thanks to the teasers, we know most of the details of the new Watch 5 Active.

The Redmi Watch 5 Active will feature a 2-inch Rectangular Touchscreen display. It is most likely an OLED panel. The device will also come with Bluetooth calling from a paired smartphone. Xiaomi advertises it with a Clear+ calling feature which will likely help with noise reduction. We don't think the wearable comes with any sort of ANC, so the noise reduction should be made through software.

The Redmi Watch 5 Active is touted to deliver an impressive battery life of up to 18 days on a single charge, although this likely includes using a battery-saver mode. The watch will run on Xiomi’s HyperOS and comes with built-in Alexa voice assistant integration, making it more versatile for everyday use. It’s also equipped to track over 140 sports modes, catering to a wide range of fitness enthusiasts. In addition to these features, you can expect standard wellness metrics, including heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, and sleep analysis.
