Last year China’s GooPhone managed to beat Apple to the punch with the iPhone 5 and actually announced it’s clone of the new phone before Apple. History is repeating itself once again as the GooPhone i5S clone is already on sale!
The GooPhone i5S has taken us by surprise, not the fact that there is a clone so soon before the announcement of the real thing, but due to the low asking price starting at just $99!
Like the GooPhone i5, the i5S boasts a near perfect iPhone 5 appearance but is packed with entry-level hardware such as a 4-inch OGS, display, dual-core MT6577 processor, 512MB RAM and 5 mega-pixel rear camera to keep costs low.
One neat feature the GooPhone i5S has is the fact that both the standard vanilla Android UI and iOS skins are installed by default making the switch from one to the other as easy as (Apple) pie.
Android-Sale are offering the first 1000 buyers an intro price of just $99 for the GooPhone i5S, but you will have to be quick as the offer runs out tomorrow after which prices will raise to $149.99.

Well it might be on March 12th only so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. I’ve always wanted a an iPhone so bad … no I haven’t

It will have an Android app store on there not the iOS app store (as it runs Android) When we tested the i5 it didn’t have Google Play either but a Chinese Android app store. Not sure if this has changed.
It doesn’t have iOS so not app-store and all that. It just looks like Apple stuff but it’s all Android.
Resolution is 854×480 but that should be enough for a 4 inch screen.

Has anyone tested this equipment? What are the build materials? Does it have the same iOS/Andoid mix (in my opinion sad)? And does it offer the option of a “pure” Android interface?

It’s the GooPhone i5 (Not 5S – It’s the $249 i5, but looks the same as the 5S White)
Is the bootloader unlocked?
And does it require fastboot or Odin/heimdall for flashing partitions to it?
i think its a good phone i have one (black) and i installed the updated rom so its all english and has the google app store etc. anyways so far so good i can get facebook and skype etc. and its a step up from my old flip phone (razor) so i guess to each there own but i say its worth the $150 and it works on at&t go phone network so far…
