HTC officials are doubtful over alleged HTC M8 leak

After yesterdays alleged leaked photo of the dual-camera HTC M8, Executives at the company have spoken out in doubt over its authenticity.

The leaked HTC M8 photo, if you missed it, showed a phone which appeared visually similar to the current HTC One but with the addition of an extra rear camera in the top and dual LED flash. The design is believed to give a Lytro after focus feature to the M8, but execs at the company don’t seem so convinced.

Gizchina News of the week

Mark Moons, HTC’s Regional Director for Benelux has posted his doubts on Twitter simply stating:

Somebody has been photo shopping….

It’s likely that Moons has seen the next generation HTC M8, or at least has a good idea about the next generation phone, and believes what we saw in the photo isn’t it.

What do you guys hope HTC will unveil in March? Is a dual rear camera the way to go?
