Xiaomi Mi3 to go on pre-order in India July 15th at an incredible price of 15,000 INR

After teasing their followers for a few weeks, Xiaomi India (Mi India) have finally made their first announcement in the country. The China based maker will put its current flagship, the Mi3 on pre-order starting 15th this month.

Known for selling their products at cost price, Xiaomi will offer the Mi3 for an incredible price of just 14,999 INR in the country. The Mi3 has received a few price cuts of late, which makes it quite a VFM affair. We’d go as far as to say that the Mi3 is the best phone in the 15k INR price bracket, thanks to some powerful hardware and a very fluid ROM.

Gizchina News of the week

Specifications:

  • 5-inch 1920 x 1080p display
  • Snapdragon 800 SoC
  • 2GB RAM
  • 16GB/32GB on-board ROM
  • 13 mega-pixel rear camera
  • 2 mega-pixel front facing camera
  • Android v4.3 (Overlaid with MIUI V5)
  • 3050mAh non-removable battery

After having used the Mi2S aka ‘little giant’ for over 6 months, I can safely say that MIUI is one of the best and most customizable ROMs out there, even if you think it’s a bit too colourful for you.

Like we earlier reported, we expect the Xiaomi to utilize Flipkart’s networks for distribution in India. With just one week to go before the 15th, we don’t have a lot to wait!

So who’s buying this one? Do you think Xiaomi will be able to break their flash sale records in India?

Should I wait for an Xiaomi’s Official Announcement that is going to be made on July 22nd?Will there be a 4G updated Model, the MI3s or MI4?

        • July 8, 2014

It might be a good idea to wait, but that might mean you’ll have to wait even more for the mi3 if you do decide to get this for we don’t know when they’ll put it up for sale after round #1.

Samsung, LG, Sony, Micromax all u guys out there
are tumbled in Indian market. Thanks Xiaomi for at last bringing sanity
of fair pricing to Indian Mobile space. Indians were being virtually raped by putting artificially high priced wares by above companies. This is the best put together
phone at the price point anywhere despite the non removable battery or
lack of memory expansion. After all there has to be positivity about
sale of 10 million Mi3 in one year. I for one am putting in for the
    first one in India.
