Lenovo K920 Flagship Killer launching 5th August

lenovo k920 launch date

With all the flagship news recently we have totally overlooked Lenovo, but they have bounded back in to the headlines with news of the Lenovo K920 launch date.

Last month the K920 went through it certification process and recently the current Lenovo K910 has dropped in price to only 1699 Yuan, tell tale signs the new phone is on its way.

The K920 continues the Lenovo tradition of an all metal body, this time measuring only 7.7mm thick, and packing a built-in 4000mAh battery, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, and 16 mega-pixel main camera with optical image stabilisation. The remarkable specs don’t stop there, as the display is a 2K unit with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, there is a Snapdragon 801 processor and LTE support.

Gizchina News of the week

The only issues which some people might have with the Lenovo K920 are it’s overall size, it has a 6-inch display, and it’s price. While most companies are aiming at around 1999 Yuan for their phones, the Lenovo K920 might cost more than 3000 Yuan!.

Lenovo will release the phone in China first on August 5, ahead of the Meizu MX4 launch that is rumoured to be scheduled for 2nd September.

Omnivision also has an 16 mp camera module for smartphone.
The gionee elife e7 uses it.
The omnivision camera module has the highest picture resolution of all phone,
Because pixel size is 1.34 micrometers, which is huge.
The omnivision camera beats every other camera module out there, even nokia’s 41 mp.

      Lets hope for omnvision.

No it doesnt beat any other camera oit there! It doesnt even touch the weak iphone camera and doesnt even come close the pureview with 20 mp not to mention 41 mp! And this is an old user of gionee e7

I have never seen a gionee in my life and what I say is true.
I understand the working of camera’s.
I am one of the few people out there who look further than MP.
          I know why apple’s 8 mp beats other 8, 13, 20.7 mp camera’s.

          PS: I wish I had a Gionee Elife E7!

You are clearly uneducated if you think the iPhone’s camera is worse than the nokia’s camera

You cannot call it “Flagship Killer” if it’s priced at a flagship price, duh.. knowing Lenovo

Xiaomi Mi4 is your true flagship killer

I presume it will not be dual SIM?

calm down, calm down, this phone will have dual sim, 6″ phones only feel big for the first week or two, its not aimed at oneplus or xiaomi (sorry geeks) and the price will drop significantly around chinese new year, this is a very good attempt from lenovo, once its released people will soon discover that theres a lot more to like about this phone than there is to hate it, and with the qualcomm, cyanogen may just be an option in the future….maybe…

Perfect size 6″. It has great specs. The name of Lenovo and 3000 yuan=487 dollars=370 euros are a very good price. For me the best VFM choise for what it offers.
