The Oppo N1 caused a stir when it was revealed with an interesting, and rather fun, rotating camera module, so what could the next generation ’N’ series phone look like?

Oppo have been secretly working on a successor to the Oppo N1 which sources tell us is named the Oppo N3. The N3 is believed to be the next camera centric smartphone form the premium Chinese phone maker, but details are currently unclear and specifications are currently a top secret.

The N1 was an innovation in the smartphone field, but it’s large size, thick bezels and Snapdragon 600 processor were details that some customers simply could not look past. There was also the issue that the camera on the N1, although good, was never as perfect as many of had hoped.

Hopefully the Oppo N3 will highlight some of these concerns with a more compact body, better camera set up and optimizations and possibly even more powerful hardware.

Our same source who has suggested the phone will be called the Oppo N3 also tells us that the launch will be in October this year! Not long to wait!
