Elephone P4000 wants to be your Mi4 wannabe

elephone p4000 leaked

Elephone don’t stop for breath! Earlier this week they released 3 new low-cost phones, and now a 4th, Mi4 influenced, Elephone P4000 is heading our way.

Our sources tell us that the they are currently working on the supply chain for the Elephone P4000 and they hope to begin production and release the phone as soon as possible.

Gizchina News of the week

Design is “inspired” by the Xiaomi Mi4, complete with a 5-inch display and even includes a higher quality metal chassis. Generally Elephone devices get good hardware but are a little lacking in terms of build and material choice, the P4000 seems to be the first phone that addresses these issues. So far though, we are not sure if the new handset will get a stainless steel chassis or Meizu-like alloy frame.

We have requested more details of the hardware, launch date, pricing and of course availability and will post the news when we receive it.

The only thing that worries me about the shear volume of phones they keep releasing is the actual ROM. There’s no way that can optimize the ROMS on these phones or keep them updated when they seem to be releasing a phone every other week! I would rather they release a few phones and get the software right, that way the end user will have a much better experience and that means a happy customer who may buy another of their phones when they do decide to upgrade in the future.
