Ulefone Dare N1 leaked, looks a lot like an iPhone 6

ulefone dare n1

A single leaked photo has appeared showing us what we can expect next from Chinese phone maker Ulefone and their new Dare N1 flagship.

Ulefone arrived on the Chinese phone scene this year with the Be Pro, a phone with OPO inspiration but a bargain price. It’s a recipe that has served them well and one they hope to duplicate with the release of the Ulefone Dare N1.

Gizchina News of the week

The above image is a render of the UleFone Dare N1 from proposed marketing material. We can see the design is close to the iPhone 6 with a similar alloy chassis and home button, but we get the addition of Android navigation buttons on either side. It is also believe that the home button will receive the same fingerprint recognition as the iPhone too.

Nothing official has been confirmed yet, but our sources at Ulefone have hinted that the Dare N1 will come with an octacore processor, 2GB RAM, 5.5-inch HD display and 13 mega-pixel rear camera.

Do you think Ulefone will dare to launch an iPhone 6 clone of their own?

Previous Nubia Z9 will be unveiled in Beijing on March 26th
Next LTE equipped, 2GB RAM, JiaYu F2 goes on sale for $124.99

it is disgusting to see an iphone with android buttons….i dunno how Ulefone will dare to launch this knockoff….

You know stupidity is a reliable source of BS…

It might be they may have found the holly grial of fcktardness.

With full android buttons and no fingershit it would be a great piece of hardware. I assume it runs on MT6752 chip and android 4.4.4

It exists, and I’m writting you from it: Kolina K100+.

But it runs MT6592T and more importantly an outdated version of Android (4.2.2) thanks to the incompetence of the manufacturer.

          Another sale miss…

It is not an iPhone clone, since it run on Android, not IOS. It looks more like an Samsung Galaxy S6 clone!

I think no clone can run IOS, since is not an open source operating system.

Android users not like to be “seen”with Apples phones! May be a bad idea. The Be Pro build is of poor quality and the camera sucks! Still no sign of Lollipop update as promised in FEB 2015!

    • March 9, 2015

They announced in late February that the update will be postponed to mid March because of some bugs that are still not solved. I think its better if they delay the ROM instead of releasing some buggy crap.

Please let it have MTK6752 and fhd screen, and of course FDD LTE. It would be a great phone, comparable to LeTV , Serendipity S7, Ebest Jiguang Plus, and Dakele 3, all of which do not seem to be getting to market outside China.
I was really hoping this was going to be shown at MWC.

Gearbest has replaced my 1st Be Pro. This new one seems to be functioning just fine. It wasn’t Gearbest’s fault, btw, but I was worried that the returned phone would never reach them. It did and Gearbest sent my replacement via DHL and I had it in 3 days.

So, now, the Be Pro is a good entry level phone. It’s okay for someone not wanting to spend a lot on a phone. I originally planned to give this phone to my wife but I’m using it instead.

I’m not that good with the camera on this phone and that may explain the poor image quality that I’m getting. I know it’s not a 13mp camera but an 8mp instead. Still, I would think an 8mp camera would take better pictures. When I move a picture from the phone to my desk top for editing, the image quality is so bad I can’t do anything with the photos. I’m going to spend more time trying to figure out the camera and maybe I can figure out how to take a better picture.

As far as I can tell, the Be Pro is a good phone for the price. It is not a flagship and it doesn’t have a flagship price tag, either.

    • March 9, 2015

There is some software issue preventing the camera from functioning properly. But the camera module doesn’t seem to be of a good quality. I have a review sample here and the focus died yesterday after roughly 2 weeks of testing. Also some devices seem to have faulty lenses (red area in the center of pictures).

        March 9, 2015

This is my 1st Android phone, which I have to think is part of my problem with the camera. However I have played around with the settings in the camera and there just doesn’t seem to be anything I can do to improve picture quality. Maybe a software/Lollipop update will improve the camera. Has anyone tried Google Camera?

It definitely looks very iPhone-like. The main differences I can see are that the power button is in a different location compared to the iPhone, the ports and antennas are placed in different places, the Dare has android navigation keys and there appears to be a front facing flash on the device.

it has 2 additional capacitiv buttons, the position and size of volume rocker and power button are slightly different and it doesnt have those plastic stripes the case of the iphone has, also i feel like the front size proportions are slightly different… For me, this is enough to not directly call it an fake iphone or clone right now, of course we would have to wait for the final product.

For me, the perfect phone would look like this, just with 5″ screen and removable battery 😉

Get over yourselves. Nobody making droid phones would consider down grading to toiphone specs.
