ulefone paris

Pre-sales have begun for the latest Ulefone Paris smartphone with a discounted price of only $129.99 down from the original $169.99.

The pre-sales for the latest Ulefone device have started with Ulefone promising that phones order during the promotion will be shipped to customers from the 25th September. Ulefone staff also say that they are more prepared for pre-sales this time round after learning from past experiences with the Be Touch 2 pre-sale.

The Paris is Ulefone’s new phone and a model they say is the perfect balance between cost, design, performance and specification. The lightweight 128g phone measures only 8mm which and features a Mediatek MT6753 chipset, 5-inch 1280 x 720 display with 2.5D glass screen, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13 mega-pixel main camera, and 5 mega-pixel front.

Gizchina News of the week

Speaking about the choice of 720p display, Ulefone have told us that they decided on a 720p panel as the 5-inch form factor doesn’t require a FHD screen, plus performance from the octacre chipset will also be improved using a lower res panel.

Ulefone also released this video of the Ulefone Paris going through a gaming and Antutu test.

No thanks, after I buying the ulefone be touch 2, I well sure I don’t buy anything from this company, overheated, and battery life is same my old phone redmi!

The stronger performance of the more CPU power, such as SD810, its power is more powerful, which is why the next generation MT6753 MTK MT6752 clocked no higher. This is normal proportion, and I hope it will be more perfect ulefone power consumption. ulefone of certain products are not perfect place, it does not mean that future products, too, such as a serious signal problems have iPhone4, iPhone4S no.

Ok is this being discussed elsewhere or am I the first one to say it…

This new gizchina.com format is a disaster from a user experience perspective. The home page simply lacks “flow” and makes it difficult to find anything. Advertisements left, right, top, center and sticking on the sides aren’t helping. It’s just an absolute overload of content, ads, and colors.

I’ve guessing you’re trying to pivot to become more like a Chinese-Engadget which covers Chinese tech in generally as opposed to just phones like you did before. Good luck but I hope you get this U/X issue sorted out because even I’m noticing comments seem to be way down since making the change.

    • September 14, 2015

Yup, I agree not really happy with the design myself. The ad positions are actually the same as before, just trying to get the server stable then I’m going to work on the design again.

That said the comments are about the same, it is just the comment count is not working. And the actual page views and IP numbers to the site have increased since the change.

      Thanks for the comments though

I don’t know if this is the right place to comment, but I have worked as web designer for some time and I have some advice for you:

        1. Get the fonts right! You are using two different font families at the same time, some stuff is in Times New Roman or similar (awful to read) and everything else is in Arial. Also, in the Home Page, font size is too small in the descriptions to be read properly.

        2. Why do you have two navigation bars at the top? Why don’t you just place the black one (the one with the international Gizchina versions and some other links) on the bottom?

        3. The Favicon on the main page is just stupid, it is there, occupying lots of space with nothing to the right of it, why don’t you place the Gizchina logo inside the top Navigation Bar (as it happens when you read and article)

        4. I would recommend not to put an advertisement right on the top of the page, it looks quite awful.

        5. For the news I would suggest to have just one column with the news in the right chronological order, then in the navigation bar add a section for “phones”, “cars”, “appliances”…

Please, don’t get me wrong, I love this site, I visit it at least twice a day. It is just that my eyes hurt when I see this chaos.

Wow, very smooth as shown in the vedieo. I could expect that. Now All MTK6753 chipesets are paired with 1080P displays, but they together lead to very slow performance, while MTK6753 is more than enough for 720P resolution. It’s happy Ulefone weighs more on user experience than visual joy.

ulefone released video display, its security Bunny reach 35000+ score, which is a mobile phone should have excellent performance properties. It is a good choice, especially its price is 129.99. You can not find another good phone than it, and if the quality of the future ulefone Paris is very good, it will sell crazy.

What camera did they use when they show the display? i mean the grass is total blur while the phone is very clear.

    • Gigi Grace
      September 14, 2015

I guess there was a monopod or something that was sheltered under the phone. In fact there was a distance between the grass and the device. When you use a big aperture, the background is blurred.

This phone is what i want in general, but i had doubt about one thing before, the border around display. In their render image, the phone was almost borderless, which i knew was marketing tricks. Well, in the real-world video, the border turns out not so thick, at least for the black version. That makes me make my mind to buy it. hi, Ulefone, show more real things which will help you sell more.

      September 14, 2015

For when not in use, so that the screen ratio is even more beautiful, this is possible, though at the time we used to see some black side, but watching the video, a black border ulefone Paris made very thin, especially with the 2.5D glass, it is even more narrow. And ulefone Paris is 5 inches, which makes it even more good proportion.

Happy to see them finally decide to give up the rediculous and useless front flash as on Be Touch 2 and resume the LED notification that is really useful. But since there is not fingerprint ID any more, off-screen gesture would be nice if the phone enables it.

    • Xu Tan
      September 14, 2015

Well, the Ulefone service have confirmed Paris will allow for off-screen gestures.

      September 14, 2015

Yep, LED notification is essential. I’ve got used to it and that’s why i gave up a try on iPhone. Without LED notification, i don’t know if i’ve missed some important messages and i have to wake up the phone to see. LED notification is kind of tranquilizer to me.

      • Geek Tech
        September 14, 2015

Hmmm, i think you’d better disable LED notification even if you will buy the phone. You have weighed too much on messages. That is not normal.

        September 14, 2015

There are better, not to be, after all, sometimes I look at the video to the notification, I have seen the contents of the notice, but I think is not important, you do not want to see it immediately, but kept flashing LED light, which affects the I, I had to exit the video to close it.

Ulefone the right choice, for many people, the 5-inch screen is the best choice, this is a very reasonable size, with a 720P screen, allowing the phone to run more smoothly, PPI is 294, this is also HD enough, there it took MT6753 eight-core processor, this is necessary, moreover, besides, it’s price is 129.99 dollars, this great value, I think it is a very competitive mobile phone, I would Tell your friends.

      September 14, 2015

Yes, if Paris ulefone has a good quality, it will sell very well, because it has a beautiful appearance, advanced configuration, it is important to the price of 129.99 dollars is very competitive.

      • VMortens
        September 17, 2015

It is competitive now for 130$, It will not be that much after the price reaches 170$. I wouldn’t risk buying this one without reading a proper review and user comments first.

      September 15, 2015

For 5-inch phone 2250 mAh battery is not small. What you say is 3G? What you there is no 4G, ulefone Paris does not seem to contain 4G Americas.

    September 16, 2015

Too bad the screen is only HD.
I agree FHD is somehow “so much” for 5″ screen but HD isn’t enough and there’s no middle standard.
Same phone with FHD and bigger battery and I would buy it.
I may go with the xiaomi mi4c though.

    • ljan ryan
      September 17, 2015

For 5-inch screen, I even want it to be 2K screen, but taking into account the smooth operation of the phone, power consumption, I think, 720P is the best choice, for the 5-inch phone, not to mention a large battery, you can 5000 mA with 5-inch phone, but it 12cm would you buy it? And the price? iPhone6S only less than 1800 mA, but to 800 dollars, why so many people choose.

      • Hiwyx
        September 18, 2015

I just don’t agree. iPhone battery is out of game here as Apple hardware and software request a lot less energy than Android based phones.
We don’t need to have a 12cm phone (maybe you meant 12mm ?) to have a decent battery in a FHD 5″ phone, just look at the Xiaomi mi4c.

      September 18, 2015

I do not understand why you say bad words,Reasonable people spend good money to get the appropriate product, which is good, I would not expect ulefone Paris to be better than iPhone6S, because I can not afford, if you intend to buy iPhone6S, you do not need this slander other mobile phone brands.I also think you should buy iPhone 6S,Even the iPhone 6S Plus.

        September 18, 2015

I don’t buy Iphone’s. I have a Huawei P8, Meizu M2 Note, Ulefone Be Pro( the worst phone I ever bought, a complete rubbish even worst than Zte Blade) and I just ordered the ZUK Z1. Also I didn’t swear nor used a bad word. It is just because Ulefone can’t make any reliable phone!
