$119.99 Oukitel K4000 specs confirmed and pre-sales begin today

The Oukitel K4000, the phone that you can also use as a hammer, has officially been released online today with pre-sale prices starting from only $119.99.

Oukitel are using the pre-sale method to kick off sales of the K4000 today, in conjunction with an early discounted price. From today (22nd September) the large battery, tough phone can be bought for $119.99. The offer will continue for 4 weeks after which the price will rise to $139.99.

Oukitel are hoping to attract customers wanting a phone with all day battery life, and durability in mind without resorting to a traditional rugged smartphone. Specs for the K4000 have been hand-picked to ensure the longest possible battery life and include a 1.0Ghz quad-core MT6735P processor, 2B RAM, and 5-inch 720p display all running off a 4000mAh battery.

Camera are a 13 mega-pixel rear, and interpolated 5 mega-pixel front, and there is 16GB storage plus room for a 32GB card too.

One of the major selling points is the laminated glass display which proved its worth nailing a hand full of solid iron nails in to a piece of wood without even a scratch. If you missed that then check out the video below!

In addition to that proven durability, the Oukitel K4000’s 4000mAh battery is claimed to give 5 days of normal use, 2.5 days of heavy use on a single charge.
