Vernee is a new brand owned by a well established smartphone OEM. According to the Vernee team it’s highly likely that you have already owned a phone built in their factory, and that their decision to build their own brand is to ensure quality phones at cut down prices.

Taking a look at the Vernee.cc website the company has at least 3 phones planned to launch in the coming weeks. The Thor will be their entry-level device, there is an unknown ‘new product’, and the flagship Apollo.

Reminds me of the elephone vowney… Not a looker

  • jimberkas

i thought babco already confirmed that X20 doesn’t support 6GB ram

anyway, specs seem pretty unrealistic to me.

    • balcobomber25

The P20 does, the X20 does not. At least in it’s current configuration, maybe they have a new version of the X20 launching that does support it because this is not the only leak that has mentioned that.

      • Assefa Hanson

like an an A or p version? like what we see in the6735?

  • Nilzie

Very interesting indeed. I wonder what kind of rom it will run

  • Kind of interesting. Apollo has taken quite a few design inspiration from the Huawei Mate series though.

  • pa5t1s

According to serious ‘sources’ , it will be launched late December, the 24th to be precise 😛

  • Lubemark

maybe launch is for april fool day? according to Mediatek own website Helio X20 does not support more than 4 GB of RAM!

    • Reece Webb

the chipset does… i dont know what you’re on about.

      • Lubemark

well if Mediatek own official site is right it seems NOT : 2x LPDDR3 POP 933MHz up to

        4GB eMMC 5.1

        here all detalils: http://mediatek-helio.com/x20/

  • balcobomber25

Like Apple it seems they were heavily inspired by HTC designs.

We are starting to see a lot of X20 leaks now.

  • yalok

huawei mate 8, is that you?

  • MattD

Usual fraud is usual: unknown oem, a phone with a unbelievable specs (so unbelievable they often is full of mistakes) that no one has ever seen in flesh, a render that is a collage of existing phones, and a pre-selling time so long you’ll never see the end of it…

    • MaxPower

      Deja vu

  • Chico Migraña

Lies lies and more lies, the website says IPad! hahaha

  • Assefa Hanson

just making it my duty to complain about 2k displays, i wont achieve anything from complaining but its nice to have something to complain about and hate 😀

    • realjjj

You must be really tired considering that 1440p screens have been around for 2 years and it won’t take that long before we get to 16k.

      • Assefa Hanson

not tired at all, when you buy your 16k smartphone let me know so i can complain about it etc 2k phones have been around for 3years and counting.

  • Joel Adames

I looked very similar to the Mate 8 to me but then I figured out the top and bottom chins are bigger (talking ratios here) … I do hope for them to be the real deal. And I do like 2K (yeah complain Hanson, but I do like then crisp) so if if Andi is after any believable source and this comes with a decent battery I’ll have to start saving my money. 🙂

  • Freeje

Price competitive with Vivo or Oppo?

  • ValeriyVK

    Battery?

  • Tony Lee

very nice, i think this phone would be a killer if the specs they released are real.

  • Trayanee

Is this brand in elephone, umi, elephone etc. export/internet cheaper/low quality category or more like letv/meizu/shallots domestic market higher quality category?

  • XdaDev X

interesting ! but mate 8 design ripoff

  • Joel Adames

This one is 2nd in trending, I guess there is genuine interest for a full speced cheap phone, and now that Mi5 is in a rather dubious situation it is perfect timing for others to take advantage as heavy players run so spensive if Zopo and Doogee and this all come with a nice specs combo and REASONABLE ROM to match then it could be a nice show to watch !!!

Let the hunger…. I mean ROM games beging !!!

    • Lubemark

well sone nice specs like Elephone than you wait six or eight month just to learn those specs were a bit wrong!

  • E8hffff

    Yum… but another months wait.

  • Julian Richards

I was just wondering about the bandwidth of the memory. Is there so much onboard so that you can record 4K video without the lagging problems you get with cards? Might make for a killer movie making machine.

  • Mr.Flying Zoom3rz

And nothing about the battery capacity..

  • Daver

    it’s name is a jork?

  • Hakim Farouk

They can even put 8 gb of ram if they want but elephone is still elephone. only ex elephone users know what i mean. hahaha. better off buying something else like oneplus or xiaomi
