Homtom HT17 bringing Android 6.0, OTG and fast charge support

We already know that Homtom manufacturer is planning to add another phone to their lineup with another budget piece Homtom HT17, which should be the first phone bringing quad-core MT6737 chipset with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Marshmallow on Homtom HT17 should be designed to fully integrate the Google Search functions so no need to kill the apps anymore to get to it. The Android 6.0 will also improve the speed of downloads, allow changing the widgets in the drop-down menu and improve battery life, partially thanks to the Doze function to optimalize the energy consumption.

Gizchina News of the week

In 2016 there are also only few phones without the OTG support, but still worth mentioning the support in Homtom HT17 cos i still remembers my rage trying to connect my flash drive to the colleague’s Samsung A5. HT17 will also feature the fingerprint scanner with unlock speed allegedly up to 0.3s and we can’t forget about the PumpExpress fast charge support and pack of supported LTE bands. Homtom HT17 is going to be launched by the end of May and we can expect very customer friendly price tag as is common for most Homtom products.

I really love the design. We’ll see about the rest! As of now, for $69 at geekbuying, doesn’t look like a bad choice!
