Doogee T5 finally coming this month

Newest addition to te Doogee lineup finally looks it will see the light of day this month and the unique looking Doogee T5 is really something else. Well look at the specs and judge for yourself.

Main features of the Doogee T5 include the special dual UI feature, choice between the crocodile texture back cover and the more sporty PC back cover, tri-proof IP67 certification, octa-core 64-bit MT6753 processor, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB of expandable storage, 4500 mAh battery, 5 Mpix OV front camera, 13 Mpix Samsung rear camera with PDAF support and last but not least 5-inch HD resolution display.

Gizchina News of the week

There should be 2 appearance of the T5, the “business look” and the “sporty style”. The business look is in jet black crocodile texture calfskin with metal frame and the sporty look is PC material which is less unique, but more durable. There should be also the two built-in UI with the HALL sensor. There are the metallic UI for business look and colorful POP art UI for sporty style, which can synchronously change with the shell. And dont forget the IP67 certification – water, dust and pressure resistance.

It all sound quite interesting, although the first price offers by the resellers are not so jolly, attacking the $230 price range. Let’s wait and see for more offers and also the first experiences with this out of the ordinary phone model.

Doogee is finally fading away – It was a great Junkware company – Its legacy will be remembered (and my endless debate with their workers writing fake comments and reviews)

What a rubbish same design as dg700 with bigger screen. DG700 was bulky this one will be even more…. Camera was absolute rubbish on DG700, speakers and microphone too, I guess T5 will be no different…. Oh yes I forgot to mention bugs full firmware where nothing is working properly… The only positive DG700 had was a slightly recessed screen I’ve been dropping it everywhere (accidentally most of the times and on purpose when buggy firmware was driving me crazy) and it still alive with no cracks! 5inch tri proof phone is too big from my own personal experience, being bulky + screen size makes it uncomfortable to hold and wont fit most pockets… Bezel less 4.7 inch would be nice so it wont be that bulky and fits easily in hand….

Try to put it in water. Because of the false IP67 certification the phone will die with a few seconds. That’s the best way to kill it.

I was using an unofficial KitKat ROM on my DG700 and it was very stable, fluid and almost bug free.

For $100 it was a good phone. But how could anybody pay over $200 for an updated version? It could sell again for little over $100. But anybody who pays more for this a fool.

You misspelled “the” in your first sentence.

Looks pretty decent, hope it’s durable.

HAHaaxhah, 230$ for a Doogee phone, when you can Meizu, Xiaomi, Huawei phones with better specs for less?
They must be out of their minds!
Nobody would ever touch this if over 159.99$
