This is the iPhone 5?

The new iPhone, next iPhone, iPhone 5 (whatever) is currently one of the most most talked about future electronic devices, but do we have to wait for Apple’s official launch? Or Is this the the iPhone 5?

Each year Apple desperately try to keep their latest iOS device, be it iPad or iPod or iPhone, a secret from the general public, and each year they never quite keep an air tight lid on things with various internal parts, body pieces and cases leaking out of Chinese factories before Apple can stop them!

However we haven’t seen a whole new iPhone leaked in parts from Chinese factories until now!

Gizchina News of the week

Chinese repair website iLabs.cc released these pictures yesterday of what they are saying is the iPhone 5. The fact that they have managed to get such great photos for the new iPhone before launch does seem a little suspicious until you learn that they have managed to piece the new iPhone together from parts available on the web!

iLabs claim that this new iPhone 5 was built using spare parts for the new iPhone which have already started to ship from Chinese factories. We have seen similar circumstances with the iPhone 4S and iPad 3, but never to the extent that a complete iPhone 5 unit could be made with the parts.

While it is unsure (and it will remain that way) that this is actual fact the iPhone 5, the phone does offer some of the details we expect the new iPhone to have such as an alloy body and the smaller ‘mini’ dock connector.

Is It just me, or does this iphone prototype design look almost 100% similar to the Jaiyu G3, if you don’t believe me, compare the 2, and you’ll see what I mean.

@ThinkOutsideTheBox haha I just wanted to make the same comment. Perhaps the Jaiyu G3 was based off those early iphone 5 leaks.
