Hands-on Video Samsung Galaxy S4 mockup

The Samsung Galaxy S4 isn’t usually the type of phone we report on here at Gizchina, but when a early hands-on video shows up way ahead of release how can we not post it!

Samsung are going from strength to strength with record sale of their fantastic Galaxy S3 and Note 2 phones, which have even spawned their very own Chinese knock-offs!

But the pressure is one the Korean manufacturer, as domestic Chinese phone makers such as Oppo and ZTE, have already announced their flagship phones for 2013 with specifications which easily blow any current Samsung device (or any company’s phone) out of the water!

Gizchina News of the week

So what do Samsung have up their sleeve to combat these upstarts? Well according to this YouTube video it’s the soon to be announced Samsung Galaxy S4 which has already been leaked in mockup form!

Not only does the video give us an early idea as to what the new Samsung S4 is going to look like, but we also get some purported specification details which include:

  • 1080p Grand AMOLED Display
  • 13-megapixel camera
  • 2.0GHz Quad-core processor
  • Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie
  • Thinner design than the current S3 and iPhone 5
  • Projection laser keyboard dock

Pretty impressive specs! Certainly enough to have Oppo and ZTE worrying a little!

I’m sure Oppo and ZTE don’t give a damn about the S4… as it will cost above 5000 RMB (today I’m quite positive!). Not even in my dreams I’d touch an inch of that!

Well this is just a 3D render and even in August 2011 there were videos of the iPhone 5 with hologram keyboard and awesome seethrough displays etc. And did any of this happen? Nope.
Are the specs confirmed and is the screen better than the Oppo Find5 and Nubia Z5? There is a possibility of 3GB RAM and it is actually quite likely

Still it is going to be extremely pricey.
