5-inch MT6589 Beidou Big K spy photos appear

Beidou are more famous for their Little Pepper range of phones, but they also make the larger screen Beidou Chi, however spy photos reveal the 5-inch Chi is soon to be replaced with a new MT6589 quad-core model.

Judging by the photo we can see the Big K will come in the same design as the original Chi, but reports from sources close to the phone suggest there will be some key updates to the phone along with a faster quad-core chip.

Gizchina News of the week

The current Beidou Chi sells for around 899 Yuan ($144) with a dual-core MT6577 CPU, 8 mega-pixel and 1GB RAM, however the newer Beidou K will get the same 5-inch display, but with a 13 mega-pixel rear camera, 2GB RAM and a quad-core MT6589 processor for just 999 Yuan ($160).

Quite and update over the current phone!
