Prototype Huawei Edge 6.3mm phone uncovered in Shenzhen

It’s not just Oppo who are obsessed with creating ultra-thin Android smartphones, Huawei also have a new wafer thin model in development which has been uncovered as the 6.3mm Huawei Edge.

This prototype alloy shell was spotted in Shenzhen and posted on French tech site Nowhereelse and shows what could be a new flagship phone from Chinese phone giant Huawei.

According to the report the Huawei Edge measures just 6.3mm thick and boasts a 4.9-inch 1080p display, quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 13 mega-pixel camera and 2600mAh battery. The phone will be available in either 16GB or 32GB models and it appears there won’t be the option to use an additional SD card.

The Huawei Edge is rumoured to launch during the 2nd half of the year!

The specs are improbable. With a phone this thin a reckon only a 2000 mah battery like the grand S

I am obsessed by that very very ugly long chinese nails. Just horror!

Regarding the smartphone, sharp corners are not good and the better are the round ones. I will never buy a smartphone with corners like that.

I gotta wonder what kinda outer space technology did they use to achieve 2600mAh in 6,3mm case…
I call bull. On either case size in the center of the phone or the battery spec.

If they will make the smartphone very big they can put even a 3500 mAh battery.
From the picture is already big.
