Nubia Z5 goes on limited open sale from 10am today

ZTE’s flagship Nubia Z5 has been selling well from all accounts and to mark the start of the May National Holiday the 1080HD phone will be available in an open sale from 10am today.

Normally high demand phones from brands such as Xiaomi, JiaYu and UMi are offered in limited runs once every few weeks. Customers wanting to get their hands on one are usually required to get a special code, wait for the time to count down and keep their fingers crossed.

Nubia fans have had to endure this from many Chinese cities have had to endure this from the start of the year when the 5-inch 1080, Snapdragon powered phone first went on sale.

Gizchina News of the week

From 10am today though the Z5 will be available in an open sale meaning no codes are required, but the stakes are just as high as stock is reported to be on the low side. If you’re not quite interested in waiting about online to get one and happen to be in Shenzhen, Beijing, Guangzhou, Xian or Wuhan though you can just pop in to one of the Nubia physical store and pick one up there.

The Nubia Z5 is priced at 3456 Yuan and features a 1.5Ghz Qualcomm S4 pro CPU, 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, 2300mah battery and 13 mega-pixel rear camera.

I agree that specs are good but i guess it might take some more time for resellers to get a hold of this.
However given the price that this phone is being sold(or presale) for international buyers, you might want to think again.
This phone on Aliexpress is being sold for about 650 USD you would need to pay for Customs tax too and if you need express shipping it would cost more.
My guess is it might cost you 40 to 45 K INR to get this imported. I am not sure if ZTE has mobiles in India and even if does can it cover the warranty of the phone imported from china.

I think for this price point you can buy a Samsung Galaxy S4 or HTC Butterfly or Xperia Z in India.
