TCL and Alcatel may have teamed up to launch a range of high end MTK equipped Android smartphones, but it looks to us TCL have been keeping the best for themselves and will soon launch an updated Idol X with 2GB RAM and Turbo MT6589T CPU!
The Alcatel Idol X launched earlier this year and really became a hit due to it's affordable price, great styling and excellent hardware. Well if you thought the Alcatel version of the Idol X was good you're going to love the TCL model even more!
TCL have taken the Idol X and made it their own with a 5-inch 1080 display, 2GB RAM, 1.5Ghz quad-core MT6589T processor and 13 mega-pixel rear camera all wrapped up in a light-weight 120g, 6.99mm body with 1.75mm bezels!
The whole phone looks great with the only possible downside being that the battery is a non replaceable unit. The TCL Idol X will launch later in the year and will be available in similar bright colors as the Alcatel variant.
