More spy photos show off the purported Nubia Z5 mini Xiaomi killer!

Oppo have flatly denied that a Find 5 Mini is on its way, good news for ZTE’s Nubia brand who look like they are on the verge of launching their’s!

The original Nubia phone, the Nubia Z5, launched right after the Oppo Find 5. It boasts a similar price, similar level of hardware and similar build quality, yet the phone has really failed to gain much traction. We’ll perhaps they’ll have better luck with the Nubia Z5 mini!

This is the second time leaked photos of the purpoted phone have been posted, but this is undoubtedly the most detailed glimpses of the phone so far!

Codenamed the NX402, the mini Nubia phone has the same red highlighting as it’s slight larger brother along with the black front white rear colour combination which is popular on Chinese smartphones at the moment.

Gizchina News of the week

From the photos and also the dimensions we can see the Nubia Z5 mini isn’t the thinnest phone in the world at 10.3mm, however we can hope that the chunky body hides a large battery and possibly NFC!

Leaked Antutu benchmarks which claim to be from the Z5 mini show an impressive score of 22,517 and hardware including a 4.7-inch 720p display, quad-core 1.5Ghz processor, 2GB RAM and Android 4.2.2!

Looks great but as long as there is no MIUI rom on these devices, I’ll pass 🙂

Anyone can easily port MIUI to a device… the real deal is if there is going to be ClockworkMod for the phone or not.

Yes, but waiting 6 months for something not stable…not for me

Anyting with smaller than 5″ screen is beautiful to me. I like to have my phone in my pocket. …and ZTE means the possibility of a working warranty in Europe. The only question is when, where and how much for foreigners.

Regular Z5 has serious network strength issue (official Nubia forum).
If they solve it with Z5 mini – and price is reasonable – this could be a good buy

Serious? I wasn’t really expecting 4.7″ when i read “mini”.. i hoped it to be between 3.8″ and 4.3″

What is mini about this phone?
Still looking for a decent and cheap 4-inch qhd (or 720p) phone with at least dual-core and 1 gb ram with maximum dimensions of 121mm*63mm. Sadly it doesn’t exist 🙁
