Julong i116, Windows 8 Tablet with Surface styling!

Prefer your tablet to come in Windows 8 flavour? How about a 11.6-inch Windows 8 tablet from China’s Julong electronics company?

Julong had a lot to keep us occupied with at Sino CES today. There Android mini iPad tablets offer high specifications at a low price, and then there was the huge 13.3-inch M133! The last device to grab our attention though was the Windows 8 powered i116.

Gizchina News of the week

The i116 is a an 11.6-inch device which ships with a dock/keyboard so that it can be used as a regular laptop. Processcing power comes in the form of an Intel Ivy Bridge chip with up to 8GB RAM!

While Julong’s pricing for Android tablets was keen, the i116 is just plain expensive with the base model (just 2GB RAM) costing an eye watering 8000 Yuan ($1300).

They are just stupids. Even Surface is less than 1000 dollars. Who will buy this crap for 1300 dollars?
