OPPO Find X10 Series Goes Global, but Europe Gets Smaller Batteries

OPPO has launched the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max in global markets, but European buyers get a smaller battery than customers in China. Both phones have a 7,150mAh battery in Europe, down from 8,000mAh in China. That is an 850mAh cut, even though the phones keep the same fast charging speeds.

The difference is worth noting because battery life is a key feature of both phones. OPPO has not explained why some markets get a smaller battery, and it remains unclear whether other regions will face the same change.

Both European models support 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. However, the global Find X10 also misses the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage option available in China. European buyers can choose up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The standard Find X10 has a 6.59-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9600M chip and features two 200MP rear cameras, a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP selfie camera.

The Find X10 Pro Max steps things up with a 6.78-inch display and the Dimensity 9600 Pro chip. It also has three 200MP rear cameras and supports OPPO's Hasselblad teleconverter accessory for extra zoom.

The Find X10 starts at €1,300 (about $1,510) for the 256GB model. The 512GB version costs €1,500 (about $1,740). The Find X10 Pro Max comes with 512GB of storage and costs €1,800 (about $2,090).

These prices put the new phones above some of their predecessors. The Find X9 with 512GB of storage still sells for around €1,000 (about $1,160), while the Find X9 Pro costs around €1,300 (about $1,510).

OPPO is offering launch deals in some European countries. UK buyers can choose selected accessories with their purchase, while customers in Germany can claim a voucher and trade-in bonus. The offers vary by country.

The Indian launch is scheduled for October 22, but OPPO has not confirmed whether Indian models will keep the larger 8,000mAh battery. Buyers in other regions will need to check their local specifications before placing an order.

The Find X10 series still offers powerful chips, high-resolution cameras and fast charging. However, cutting battery capacity while keeping prices high may be a harder sell. The 7,150mAh battery is still large, but buyers should know exactly what they are getting for their money.
