OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Officially Unveiled. How Much Does It Cost?

OPPO has officially unveiled its flagship model, the Find X10 Pro Max. The phone joins the standard Find X10 and the more affordable Find X10 E. The Pro Max targets users who want top-tier performance, a trio of 200MP cameras, and an 8000mAh battery. The company also revealed specific pricing for the Chinese market.

The base version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs 6,799 yuan in China, roughly 958 US dollars. The version with 12GB and 512GB comes to 7,499 yuan, about 1,056 US dollars. The 16GB and 512GB configuration costs 7,999 yuan, around 1,126 US dollars. The top-of-the-line model with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage costs 8,999 yuan, converting to roughly 1,267 US dollars. This conversion is only an estimate based on the current exchange rate and does not represent an official US price.

At the heart of the phone is MediaTek's new Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, built using TSMC's advanced 2-nanometer N2P process. The processor combines two top-performance cores running at 4.55 GHz, three cores at 4.35 GHz, and another three at 3.1 GHz. Graphics performance is handled by a 12-core G2 Ultra NX GPU. The phone uses fast LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage, paired with advanced cooling.

The camera system is the model's main selling point. The back of the phone offers three separate 200-megapixel sensors: a main camera with optical stabilization and 17 EV of dynamic range, an ultra-wide-angle camera, and a periscope telephoto lens with stabilization. The phone is also the first Android device to support Open Gate mode, which uses the full surface of the image sensor. The setup is rounded out by a 3.2MP sensor for more accurate color reproduction. The front camera offers 50 megapixels.

The display measures 6.78 inches, with a resolution of 2772×1272 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. Local peak brightness reaches 3600 nits, and the panel covers 95 percent of the BT.2020 color space. Battery life is handled by an 8000mAh battery, which supports 80W wired charging or 50W wireless charging. The phone is 8.4 millimeters thick and weighs between 233 and 235 grams, depending on the color option. Available colors include Moon White, Warm Orange, and Light Titanium. Other features include Wi-Fi 7, NFC, an infrared port, an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, and IP66, IP68, and IP69 resistance to dust and water.

At 8,999 yuan for the top configuration, the Find X10 Pro Max ranks among the most expensive phones on the Chinese market. That leaves an open question about pricing for the European, and specifically the US, market, since OPPO has not yet announced official pricing outside China. Even so, the hardware on offer, three 200-megapixel cameras and the latest 2-nanometer chip, ranks among the best the market currently has to offer.
