ColorOS 17 Update Timeline Is Here: Check When Your OPPO, OnePlus or realme Phone Gets Android 17

OPPO has finally published the ColorOS 17 rollout schedule, giving OnePlus and realme users a much better idea of when Android 17 is coming to their phones. According to the latest info, the stable rollout starts on October 8 in China. The first wave includes the newest OPPO Find phones, OnePlus 15 and 15T, and realme GT8 Pro.
There is an important detail here, though. These dates are for the Chinese market. OPPO has not yet published the global or India rollout schedule.
The First ColorOS 17 Updates Start October 8
The first batch is reserved for some of the newest phones from all three brands.
- Oppo Find N6, Find N6 Satellite Edition
- Oppo Find X9 Ultra, Find X9 Ultra Satellite Edition, Find X9s Pro, Find X9 Pro, Find X9 Pro Satellite Edition, Find X9
- OnePlus 15, OnePlus 15T
- Realme GT 8 Pro, GT 8 Pro Aston Martin F1 Limited Edition
The second batch follows on October 16. It includes phones such as the OnePlus 13 and 13T, OPPO Find X8 series, and realme GT7 Pro.
- Oppo Fnd N5, Find N5 Satellite Edition
- Oppo Find X8 Ultra, Find X8 Ultra Satellite Edition, Find X8s+, Find X8s, Find X8 Pro, Find X8 Pro Satellite Edition, Find X8
- Oppo Pad 5 Pro, Pad Mini, Pad Mini Soft Light Edition
- OnePlus 13, OnePlus 13T
- OnePlus Pad 3 Pro
- Realme GT7 Pro, GT7 Pro Racing Edition
- Realme GT8
- Realme Neo8
This is a pretty quick move for last year's flagships. I also like that OnePlus and realme are part of the same schedule instead of making users wait for a separate update plan.
More Phones Follow in October
The rollout continues through the rest of October. On October 20, ColorOS 17 will start rolling out to the OPPO Watch X3 and Watch X3 Mini, as well as the OnePlus Ace 6 series.
The OPPO Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro follow on October 22. The OPPO Watch X2 and Watch X2 Mini are scheduled for October 30.
That means OPPO is not limiting the first month to its most expensive phones. It is already moving into the Reno range and its wearable lineup.
November Brings a Much Bigger List
The list gets much longer on November 26. OPPO plans to update models such as:
- Oppo Find N3, Find N3 Collector’s Edition, Find N3 Flip
- Oppo Find X7 Ultra, Find X7 Ultra Satellite Edition, Find X7
- Oppo Reno 15 Pro, Reno 15, Reno 15c
- Oppo Reno 14 Pro, Reno 14
- Oppo K15 Pro+, K15 Pro, K15
- Oppo Pad 6, Pad 6 Soft Light Edition
- Oppo Pad 5, Pad 5 Soft Light Edition
- Oppo Pad 4
- Oppo Watch S
OnePlus will also bring ColorOS 17 to the OnePlus 12 and several Ace models, such as:
- OnePlus 12
- OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, Ace 5, Ace 5 Ultra, Ace 5 Racing Edition
- OnePlus Turbo 6V, Turbo 6
- OnePlus Pad 2 Pro, OnePlus Pad 2
Realme users get a large batch as well, including the Neo7 series and realme 15 family.

At this point, the update starts to look much more like a full ecosystem rollout rather than a flagship-only release.
December Covers Older Models
The next big wave begins on December 26 when a large batch of devices will get the update:

- OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, Ace 3 Genshin Impact Edition, Ace 3V
- OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro, Turbo 6X

The important thing to remember is that these are push start dates. They do not mean every phone in a model line will receive the update on that exact day.
OPPO can also change the schedule during development.
What About Global Users?
This is the part I would pay the most attention to. OPPO has only announced this roadmap for China. There is still no official global schedule for ColorOS 17.
That also means European users should not look at October 8 and expect the update to arrive on their phone that day. Global firmware usually follows the Chinese rollout, but the timing can be different. ColorOS 17 itself is a major Android 17 update. It brings the new Fluid Design, improved animations, stronger AI tools and changes to performance and memory management.
For me, the most interesting part is not just how quickly OPPO is rolling it out. It is the number of devices included. OnePlus and realme are also getting the same core software, which makes this one of the biggest Android 17 rollouts in the BBK ecosystem.
Now we just need OPPO to publish the global schedule. That is the timeline most European users are actually waiting for.
